21 Jan Terry Sudrla named 2015 EMS Instructor of the Year
Terry Sudrla was named the 2015 EMS Instructor of The Year by IEMSA (Iowa Emergency Medical Services Association) Annual Awards Banquet in Des Moines Iowa.
As an EMS instructor and paramedic, Terry has taught untold numbers of students over the course of the years and brings a special talent to his classroom students, as both a teacher, and an excellent caregiver. He has been working in the EMS system in and around the Sioux City area for nearly three decades and is currently employed at Siouxland Paramedics and Western Iowa Tech, in Sioux City. He has worked as a field paramedic, flight paramedic, EMS Instructor, EMS Director, and an EMS evaluator.
Terry teaches his students to care for the patient’s physical and emotional needs and brings enthusiasm to his classrooms to instill his caring values to the students. He had been influential to many students over the years, and they will likely not ever forget the valuable medical education he has made accessible to them.
