Siouxland Paramedics Inc. Sioux City, Iowa, has immediate openings for the following positions:

PARAMEDIC – Full Time or Part Time
Candidates must have verifiable experience in 911 and inter-facility transports with high acuity patients. Will function as a 911 Paramedic and an inter-facility ground transport Paramedic in urban and rural environments. Must have a strong understanding of EMS systems, clinical performance, significant knowledge in critical care transport and medical and trauma emergencies and excellent customer service skills.


Three years field experience in pre-hospital/inter-facility high acuity patient management preferred, National Registry and State of Iowa Paramedic within 90 days of hire, Iowa State Critical Care Paramedic Endorsement preferred along with Community Paramedic Certification, ACLS/PALS/CPR provider certifications required upon hire and instructor credentials preferred. Pre-employment physical and drug screen will be required following a conditional job offer.



Verifiable experience as an EMT with an ALS ambulance service is preferred. National Registry and State of Iowa EMT and CPR provider certifications required upon hire. Pre-employment physical and drug screen will be required following a conditional job offer.



Driver picks up patient from their residence, drives them to June E. Nylen Cancer Center for appointment, returns them to their home. Hours are early morning however there is no guarantee of hours or no set schedule as schedule is based on need. Current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required which must be maintained throughout employment. Flexibility required to work hours as needed. Must have a friendly and compassionate personality.
